We're seeking a results-driven People & Talent Manager with start-up energy, an analytical mindset, and a strong work ethic.
You will have the unique opportunity to design, develop and give input into the Makosi People strategy globally and locally while working directly with senior management across several business areas on talent planning, internal recruitment strategies, employee relations and compliance, global mobility, payroll and the overall People management function.
This position requires a balance of creativity, drive, and interpersonal savvy that will position you to play a key role in advancing a more accessible, diverse and equitable talent base through our hiring practices.

Duties
Your Daily Adventures will include:
- Design, implement and managing a people strategy to build and develop successful end to end people management functionalities for all Makosi internal team members & global consultants with a key focus on compliance, efficiencies and experience
- Creating, designing and managing innovate people & talent methodologies through identifying unique, creative and non-traditional talent management methods that will improve and further grow existing frameworks
- Managing and continuously reviewing the overall employee value proposition with a key focus on continuously improving our offerings through market analysis and local trends
- Providing key insights and strategic input into building the global mobility framework
- Developing and monitoring people processes & compliance frameworks that improve operational and talent efficiencies including policy review and implementation, disciplinary and Labour relations processes, people and process compliance
- Payroll & benefit review and management
- Enhancing our creative people & talent operations and strategies leading us to further expand, increase and take advantage of our competitive advantage in the market
- Driving and owning onboarding & offboarding and operational requirements with the vision of giving our team members an exceptional journey and experience
- Lead, improve and drive current people operations processes & frameworks to optimized efficiencies and people standards in partnership with the People Centre of Excellence
- Together with the People Centre of Excellence, act as subject matter expert and key business advisor to the organization on all related people processes, frameworks across people operations & engagement
Role Requirements:
- 5-10 years of HR, talent & process management
- Experience with people operations & compliance processes, frameworks and policy management and implementation
- Experience managing talent experience for higher-value services and successfully supporting that over time while maintaining high and efficient talent and people metrics & targets
- Ability to understand business goals and consultant aspirations to anticipate future needs, and develop solutions
- Ability to develop relationships, optimize B2C engagement, and evangelize service offerings through strategic solutions
- Ability to understand and communicate complex problems clearly and concisely to different audiences (Managing Partners, HR Leaders, Product Managers, Engineers, Sales)
- Excellent commercial communication skills (written, oral, and presentation) a strong listener who makes people feel understood; can be inspiring and fun while being capable of flexing to different audiences
- Collaborative team player who takes the lead in driving initiatives, working across teams and structuring approaches to new opportunities
- Has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, solve problems creatively, think on his/her feet and be comfortable in new situations working with multiple stakeholders
- Self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire Client loyalty and adoption
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience building strong internal and external relationships
- Consistent track record of highly-professional Client service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through Client issues
